2019 Honda Civic update revealed in the US
The
Honda Civic range has received a mild facelift in the US that provides a glimpse of what we could expect when the Australian line-up is updated next year.
The lower bumper has also been enhanced with the front splitter now blending seamlessly with an elegant chrome-trimmed fog-lamp surround.
Styling tweaks include a fresh-looking piano-black grille treatment now common across all hatch and sedan variants and flanked by redesigned headlight units.
The 2019 US Civic range will also come with autonomous emergency braking as standard as part of the latest Honda Sensing active-safety package that also includes lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
The range also gains a revamped infotainment system that does away with one of our long-standing Civic bugbears, a conventional knob replacing the the annoying touch-sensitive volume slider that was difficult to operate while driving.
